HBFT Fidelity Program Bulletin

HBFT Fidelity Program Bulletin:
This bulletin is a follow up to the KMAT Mental Health Bulletin 14115

As of November 1st, 2014, home-based family therapy providers who currently bill the 90847-HK in-home family therapy code are required to show fidelity to the HBFT in-home family therapy model to continue billing the code.
To do this providers must contact the HBFT Partnership by either phone (785-532-7695) or email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) with the intention of continuing to provide in-home family therapy and bill at the specified code.
Those who are participating in the fidelity project are required to take the HBFT Core Training for Medicaid Providers. Those who have taken the training in previous years do not need to retake the training. Likewise, those who have taken a KHS approved HBFT training will need to provide a copy of certification to the HBFT Partnership. The HBFT Partnership will add all KHS alternative trainings and add licensed practitioners to the approved list.
If you will be participating in the fidelity project please contact the HBFT Partnership, at 785-532-7695 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and provide the following information and our staff will include you in our database:
