Core Training

The HBFT Partnership will no longer be able to offer trainings to providers in Kansas due to budget cuts.  We have appreciated the opportunity to provide training and resources to the clinicians of Kansas for the last 10 years.  We realize there will be questions regarding fidelity and KDADS has requested that you direct your questions to John Hostetler, at: This email address is being protected from spambots.  -HBFT Partnership Team

The Core Training is a key event in the HBFT Partnership identifying aspects of home-based family therapy that are distinct from traditional, in-office therapy. To bridge the gap between office-based work and home-based practice, we address several unique challenges associated with working with families in their homes. This training has requirements that must be completed no later than the Friday before (one week prior to) the training. As part of the registration process we require all participants to take 2 surveys. First, the Professional Quality of Life survey (ProQOL) should be taken and is located on our HBFT Self-Care Website ( Then, after your registration is completed you will receive an email that contains the link and directions to the 2nd survey evaluation. You will need to record your scores from the ProQOL to complete the 2nd survey. Lunch is provided at the core trainings (Deli lunch). Individuals with food allergies should notify the HBFT Partnership office as soon as possible so appropriate accommodations can be arranged.

**You must be a licensed practitioner to be eligible to register for this training**

Registration for Core Trainings opens 60 days prior to the event and closes 7 days prior to the event.
